πͺ Lebkuchen Recipe (German Christmas Cookies)
π§Ύ Ingredients:
- Maida (all-purpose flour) β 2 cups
- Shahad (honey) β 1 cup
- Brown sugar β Β½ cup
- Anday β 2
- Baking powder β 1 tsp
- Cinnamon powder β 1 tsp
- Cloves powder β ΒΌ tsp
- Nutmeg powder β ΒΌ tsp
- Ginger powder β Β½ tsp
- Lemon zest ya orange zest β 1 tsp
- Vanilla essence β 1 tsp
- Badam ya hazelnuts (crushed) β Β½ cup
π Optional:
- Chocolate coating ya sugar glaze
π¨βπ³ Method:
- Honey + sugar garam karo
Ek pan mein honey aur brown sugar halki heat pe melt karo (boil nahi karna). Thanda hone do. - Eggs mix karo
Is mixture mein eggs aur vanilla add karke achi tarah whisk karo. - Dry ingredients add karo
Maida, baking powder aur saare spices (cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves) mix karke batter mein daal do. - Nuts & zest add karo
Lemon/orange zest aur crushed nuts mix karo. - Dough rest
Dough ko 30β60 minutes rest karne do (thoda sticky hota hai, ye normal hai). - Shape & bake
- Oven preheat: 180Β°C
- Baking tray par small rounds ya cookies shape bana lo
- 12β15 minutes bake karo
- Finish
Thanda hone ke baad:- Ya to powdered sugar glaze karo
- Ya melted chocolate se coat kar lo π

Asli German style mein ye cookies 1β2 din baad aur bhi tasty ho jati hain β flavor deepen ho jata hai.
